Jing is some great video screen capturing software, and it's free. However the free version only saves it as a flash file. But it records in full resolution for 5 minute, and you can even create an online server share to be able to share your videos with whomever you please.
The Pro version is only $15/year... So that is $1.25/month. Not too bad for some good software that takes high quality videos (without watermarking), and can auto-upload to YouTube. I suggest you consider just throwing in the buck and a quarter a month for this software.
Camstudio is also a good free option, but it's lackluster in some of its features. But that's what you get when you pay nothing.

I agree that both Democreator and Total Screen Recorder are the great tools for video software. However they are not free. And I need some free simple mouse recorders SW. May you advise any?
